Mini First Aid
A fun and engaging introduction to first aid, this course is designed specifically for children.
Using age-appropriate activities, it helps young learners understand how to get help, stay safe, and provide basic assistance in emergencies — all delivered in a friendly, confidence-building environment.
This course can be adapted to meet the needs of the group, whether that be meeting the National Curriculum requirements or those of the Duke of Edinburgh award.

How long is the course?
This course can be adapted to your requirements, whether that be a 1 hour session or a whole drop down day to train the whole school.
Assessment & Certification

National curriculum requirements
In England, first aid is a statutory part of the National Curriculum for state-funded schools. It was introduced as part of the Health Education framework, which became compulsory in September 2020.
Primary Schools (Key Stage 2 – Ages 7–11)
Pupils should be taught:
Basic first aid, for example:
How to make a clear and efficient call to emergency services
Concepts of basic first aid, including dealing with common injuries (such as cuts, scrapes, and head bumps)
Secondary Schools (Key Stage 3 & 4 – Ages 11–16)
Pupils should know:
Basic treatments for common injuries
Life-saving skills, including:
CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
The purpose of defibrillators and how to use them
How to make an emergency call and respond to emergency situation
