First Aid at Work (FAW)
The FAW course is a comprehensive training programme that provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills to handle a wide range of first aid situations in the workplace.
Covering everything from life-threatening emergencies to minor injuries and illnesses, this course meets the full requirements of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and is ideal for higher-risk environments or those with larger staff teams.
Individual price: £250
Group price: £1700 (up to 12)
How long is the course?
A standard FAW qualification is 18 hours plus breaks (3 days). Want to reduce the amount of time away from work? Our blended FAW requires just 6 hours of face to face contact time.
Assessment & Certification
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, followed by 3 practical assessments on the final afternoon of the course. (during a blended FAW a further online assessment is undertaken) Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years and is HSE compliant. Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.
